Use tasks on a KPI List

How to create and assign tasks on a KPI List so action items stay tied to performance.

We recommend using tasks to track the real world actions of staff that may have an impact on the KPI Lists results. These are often the output of performance reviews. For this reason, tasks can only be created within a KPI List so that they are used in context.

To create a task on a KPI List

  • Go to the KPI List details page by clicking on the title of the KPI List.

  • Click 'Add Task' in the Tasks section below the grid.

  • Fill in the form, set an assignee and click 'Save'.

  • Note: Only users assigned to the KPI List or assigned to the workspace which contains the KPI List can be assigned to a task on the KPI List.

Once a task has been created, click the title of the task to open it. To the right of the task's details, you will find a space for adding comments.

You can mention other users by typing '@' followed by their names. When you type '@', this will open a dropdown list of users that you can select from.

Quick Tips

  • To mark a task as complete, click the checkmark next to the title of the task.

  • You can view all tasks associated with KPI Lists in a workspace by clicking on the 'Tasks' tab within that workspace

  • Completed tasks are hidden by default. Click the 'Show completed' checkbox to see completed tasks.
