[Legacy] Your TMS is connected to FleetOps but the data on the platform doesn't match your in-house reports

⚠️ Legacy article (FleetOps v1/v2). This documentation describes the older FleetOps interface. If you are using the current FleetOps interface, the latest documentation lives in the other collections of this help center.

If you've just started using FleetOps, the chances are that some of the data you see on the platform doesn't match what you know or expect, based on your current reporting.

Why is that?

Typically, this is due to misalignment between the fields & dates we use to build our datasets versus the ones you use in existing reports.

For example, we might create some revenue metrics based on our movements dataset and a delivered date, whereas you might generate revenue reports using orders from a pick up date.

Another common problem is that our understanding of total or available trucks for example is different from yours. You might exclude certain trucks that are swaps but we include them.

It is usually very straightforward to exclude these items and gain alignment. We just need to ask you to point us in the right direction.

How do we align?

To align the data, we need to learn from you, we typically do this through one or more online workshops

During these workshops we will build 'validation spaces' in the platform that bring together all of the reports needed to focus on these key pieces of information and ultimately, sign off on them.

Once completed, you business should have trust in the data and we can begin building our the required reports & dashboards.
