A Gauge chart is used to display a KPI for a specific entity against its peer group.
To create a Gauge chart
Ensure you are on a dashboard (not created from a template).
Click on the menu located in the top-right corner of the screen.
Select 'Create new gadget.'
In the 'Create new gadget' window, select 'Gauge' as the gadget type.
Enter a name for the Gauge chart gadget.
Click on 'Select a metric' to choose a metric from the list of pre-defined metrics.
From the 'Peer Group' dropdown, select the field that you want to compare against.
From the 'Entity' dropdown, select the field value you would like to visualize.
In the provided example, we are displaying the number of loads that were of commodity 'Food' against all other commodities.
Set the default date range for your Gauge chart using the date picker.
If you wish to set up a report to drill down to from this gadget, select a report from the dropdown located in the top-right corner.
Note: In the gauge chart, you can use scope filters to narrow down the peer group that you want to compare against
Once you've configured the default date scope, run time filters & scope filters, click 'Save'.
The Gauge chart gadget will be added to the bottom of your dashboard. Scroll down if needed to re-position and resize the gadget as required.
