The quick select option on the date picker offers flexibility in setting a rolling date range for which you want to view your data.

You can choose to look at a period in the past, present or future by choosing

  • Last

  • Current

  • Next

The number input lets you choose any period you want, be it the last 30 days or last 4 weeks.

The period selector gives you the following options:

  • Days

  • Weeks

  • Months

  • Quarters

  • Years

The datepicker also offers a list of your recently used filters for quick access.




Advanced

The Advanced option let's you pick complex rolling windows. Let's say you want to see your numbers for the current week until yesterday. The Advanced option helps you achieve this by setting the rolling window Current Week -> Last 1 Day as shown below.

How to view data for the previous period?

If you want to view data for the previous period such as yesterday, last month or last year, you select 'Last', ' 1 ' and then the period of your choice (day / week / month / quarter / year).

Note: In case your period is 'Days', you have the option to include 'today' in your date range by checking the 'Include Today' check box.




How to view data for any period-to-date?

If you want to view data for periods such as 'Week-to-date' or 'Year-to-date', you select 'Current'. the period of your choice (day / week / month / quarter / year) and then check the 'To Date' check box.
