Create a new KPI List

Step-by-step guide to creating a KPI List, adding KPIs, and grouping rows.

Note: This feature is available to Admins & Editors


To create a new KPI List

  • Go to 'Content' from the main navigation menu on the top and Select "View All Content"

  • Click 'Create New' in the right corner and select "KPI List" from the dropdown.

  • Select a label if you want this KPI list to be part of a specific product.

  • Pick an assignee (or multiple assignees)

    • Note each assignee will now see this KPI List on their home screen

    • Select your interval. This determines whether you enter targets and monitor performance on a weekly or monthly basis for all KPIs

    • Select the starting interval from which you want to begin setting targets

  • Select the initial number of periods you want your KPI list to show. This can be adjusted after creation also.

    • Pick the number of scoring bands. This applies to all KPIs that will be added to this KPI List

    • Click 'Create' to save these settings

Adding KPIs

Once the KPI List is created, you can start adding KPIs

  • Click 'Add' -> 'KPI'

  • On the basic form you can start by picking the metric that you want to set targets on

  • 'Add filters' to specify who / what you are setting targets for. This could be a driver manager, division or some other filter.

  • Enter a meaningful display name so you can identify this KPI on the KPI List

  • At this point you can choose whether to set targets now or later. If you would like to come back later and set targets, simply check the 'Set targets later' checkbox

  • If you would like to keep targets enabled you need to set targets using the scale that was picked when creating the KPI List. The inputs will vary based on the scale you've selected

  • Once you've entered your targets, click 'Add'

  • If needed, you can adjust for seasonality by specifying new targets in the future. For example, you can set certain targets from Jan - Jun and different targets starting from July. Do this by clicking on 'Add New'.

  • From there you can create your target as before and select a different starting date.

  • As a final step, you can decide to select a report that you would like to pop-up from the KPI List for the selected metric as a further drill down option.

  • Click 'Save'

  • Repeat the above steps for adding more KPIs to the KPI List

Adding Group Rows

To add a group row:

  • Click 'Add' -> 'Group'

  • Enter a title for the group row and click 'Create'

To delete a group row

  • Hover over the group row that you want to delete

  • Click the 3 dots that appear and select "Delete"

To re-order KPIs and group rows

  • Hover over the KPI or the group row that you want to re-order

  • Click and drag the row to the desired position using the drag handle that appears on the left as shown below
