The FleetOps platform periodically queries and syncs data securely from your database using Microsoft's Integration Runtime (IR). The IR is a Windows Service that creates a secure link to transfer data between your network and the FleetOps platform. ​

All traffic is outbound from your network and therefore no firewall changes are needed. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. ​
