[Legacy] How secure are FleetOps connections to my databases?

⚠️ Legacy article (FleetOps v1/v2). This documentation describes the older FleetOps interface. If you are using the current FleetOps interface, view the up-to-date version of this article instead.

FleetOps connects to a range of databases. TMT, Squarerigger and Great Plains are a few examples. Contact [email protected] to learn more about the databases that FleetOps can connect to.

The FleetOps platform periodically queries and syncs data securely from your database using Microsoft's Integration Runtime (IR). The IR is a Windows Service that creates a secure link to transfer data between your network and the FleetOps platform.

All traffic is outbound from your network and therefore no changes to your firewall are required. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

The diagram below depicts the flow of data for on-premise connections.
