Reference for every App role — Frontline Viewer, App Viewer, and App Admin — and what each can do.

Summary of Roles

What you can access in any particular app depends on which role you hold. FleetOps System Administrators can see all Apps by default, and don't need to be explicitly added. However, Basic Users or Executives may need to see or do different things.
​

In general, Apps have three types of roles.
​

  • Frontline Viewer (most restricted)
    ​

    • Can only access the assigned view. Each App has different customized frontline views that can be shared.
      ​

  • App Viewer
    ​

    • Can access the App outputs i.e. reports, dashboards etc. Each App has different outputs.
      ​

  • App Admin
    ​

    • Can access the App outputs i.e. reports, dashboards etc. Each App has different outputs.
      ​

    • Can access and manage the App settings. Each App has different settings but normally involves App User Management and workflow settings.
      ​
