What are Run time filters?

These are explicit filters which can be edited. In case, a gadget has run time filters on it, these will be visible in the drill down report and the user can interact with these filters by removing or changing the filter values.

To access Run down filters:

  1. Open pop-up report by clicking on a Drill Down icon:

2. If run time filters are applied, they will be visible next to the date picker on top of the page.

Click on the run tme filters field to access all available filters.

3. Every user can change these filters when working with the data. They will return to the default setting when the drill down is closed.

What is Scope?

Adding scope, creates an implicit filter which is not visible in the drill down. All the data and filtering options available in the drill down are limited by the filter values set under scope.

For example, the gadget below was scoped to see limited values of driverDiv, so the drill down's filter for driverDiv will only show those values. This is used to give users access only to the data that is relevant to them. Dashboards for Driver Managers are scoped by the driver manager code.
